We bring our ‘Shall We Dance Program’ including works by Piazzolla, Bartok, Ravel, Elizondo, Brahms, Price, Tchaikovsky, Saint-Saens, and Chopin, to the Moated Castle in the beautiful spa town of Bad Rappenau in Germany.

Duo Amie performs ‘Moulin Rouge’ in West Tisbury Library’s Concert Series. The program adapts the riveting story from the movie musical ‘Moulin Rouge’, to cello & piano. Duo Amie blends iconic pieces from the classical music and cello/piano repertoire with several original pieces created for them, to tell the story of Moulin Rouge with cello and piano. The program includes classics such as Fauré’s Elegy and Après un rêve, Elgar’s Salut d’Amour, Verdi’s Libiamo ne' lieti calici from La Traviata, Piazzolla’s Oblivion, Massenet’s Thais Meditation, Poulenc’s Les Chemin de L’Amour and Popper’s Hungarian Rhapsody, as well as a newly commissioned work by Berklee College of Music Composer Francine Trester and newly created arrangements by the duo, including Florence Price’s Heart of a Woman.
